This was in the mail today, from my mum...it's soo true..& I'm gonna stop complaining (or at least try)... :)
GRATITUDE is POWER, and here's why....

It is what it is, I refused one offer and therefore not get to climb the ladder this round. I rocked the boat...and I really hope to be happy at the next destination. Some may say that I refused a good offer, but the offer is already useless to me if it doesn't excite me anymore, what's the point of heading a team if you can't motivate your teammates? I think it would turnout really bad.
I owe it to myself to learn new things, be it different areas, products, systems etc. I felt bad letting her down as she had plans to groom me (so she says after I put in my request), but how do you do the same thing day in and day out, already feeling bored for the past few months? I am at the age that I can still afford to be bored and change my career directions as I wish. So I really hope I made the right choice, if I didn't, I pray that Allah open's another path for me, what ever is best, I am open for it right now…
I guess I'd rather enjoy myself rather than think that power is everything; it is definitely not at this juncture of my career. I was advised (by some friends – with experience) to stay away from power as long as I can, enjoy the work as it is, only accept it when I am really ready or I am forced to be ready. As the saying goes, "With power comes responsibilities" – responsibilities that I don't need at this point in time.
The reason I am putting this down is so that the next time I think that I actually regret this decision, I can come back here and refresh myself to why I did what I did.
But seriously...9 to 12 months transition?? 1 year? I'm stuck at the moment....I feel its unfair and I hate her for it.

This was sudden...Put was suppose to come over & we were supposed to do the dvd marathon thingy with all the dvd's bought from Bandung...Elaine was gonna come over too...like a slumber party...then Arif, Put's bro...out of the blue just asked us if we wanted to go to Genting...heh for no reason of course, just go up n down for the night...so we said OK! And up we went! :)
Kamal, Pejal & Pow joined us later (I guess they figured better to join us buat keja giler, than watching cerekarama!)...we enjoyed the cool air & came back down...as for the loads of gambar...will upload later..:)

It's been a while since I met Wea & Yudi, the last was when we found out she was pregnant at Ampang Park...now she's approaching 5 months..we went to Ayuthai @ Melawati for Dinner, we use to always go there...like the food there..tom yam pedas giler!
Wea had actually asked me to get her a black kebaya from Bandung...& I totally forgot about it! Sorry Wea!! next time k... *rasa bersalah*...I almost bought one in Bandung...but I suddenly didn't want it! Should have just bought it...sigh..

On the rocking the boat issue...I kinda got the other thing I wanted but with a condition that I have to tell her myself and I have until next week to do it, if I really want it. I'm afraid of the response from her now, people here actually told me to warn them before going to her so that they can be prepared for what ever mood that comes out from "the talk"...whether the boat will be stable or capsized I will know after "the talk". I might not get it if she doesn't agree to it..sigh...
But now, I'm not really sure of what I want... but I think I want it! What ever it is, I need to move forward, so wish me luck with "the talk"! I pray that I have enough strength and courage to do this; I really need to say the right things or it could get ugly or maybe I'm over reacting...what ever it is, hope it goes well.

04-07 Feb 2009: We went to Bandung!
From LCCT to Hussein Sastranegara Airport...
We had made reservations at the Sukajadi Hotel, but we ended up at the Cemerlang Hotel. We didn't like Sukajadi, Cemerlang was a lot better! the whole changing hotel thing took us 2 hours with the credit card not activated and hp credit issues! I forgot to activate my line to roaming...so I was lost without my line...but was glad in a way, the office couldn't reach me...heheh
Great Ikan Bakar here...we went to the food court at Pasar Baru before we did the first round material shopping...
Next day - 05 Feb 09: Waited 1 hour...something to do with miscommunication on the time settings...we were ready too early and didn't even notice it! eventually we did...and laughed it off

3rd day - 06 Feb 09: Suppose to go to another sightseeing place but Su & I was sick...so we took our time at the hotel that morning, and headed to the farmasi then to Pasar Baru...again - Borong Kain!!
Next we went for DVDs shopping, the guy tried to cheat us! its annoying...they are just out to fleece us! it was already after 5pm and we were soo hungry...we went to Paris Van Java...
Had Lunch & Dinner at Awe (A&W)... Elaine had 4 pieces of Fried Chicken ok! but the pieces was small lar...like anak ayam...(jgn mara elaine!)
Summary at the end: packed our bags that night, next morning, had breakfast at the hotel...got Kartikasari, the famous brownies & left for the Airport, Su & I had to pay for access baggage...21kg's!!
Overall, it was fun & tiring...learned a few indonesian word...capek (tired), Libur (holiday) & the rest I can't remember already!

Seronoknye this year, to date I already received 4 Angpows! Last year none, so that’s why I’m actually so excited…heheh...anyway, here’s me showing off the Angpows from (my X-boss - KT, colleague & good friend - Glennise, my current boss - AK & a new manager here - STM)

* Also, have a plan for Star Cruise in March 09, Elaine invited us to join her & her parents…there were 2 empty seats since her Sis & bro in law couldn’t make it, Put & I will be filling in…(& yes we are paying ok…not free!)… I’m so happy (not the paying part of course, bankrupt jugak bulan nie…the going for a cruise part!!)!!
Hopefully it's a good year...with all the Angpow's coming in :) ... I wonder if the Yee Sang plan for today with the x-colleagues will actually materialize or not..hmm...

1st Feb 08: OMG it's already February 09! gosh, time flies...I don't feel like I have accomplished anything in the past month....gotta buck up!
Yesterday...went to senawang (a day trip) to visit my cousin (my mum's side), we didn't get to attend her son's wedding and therefore owed a visit...Selamat Pengantin Baru the the couple although I don't really know them...hmmm..to come to think of it, I don't really know lots of my cousins & their families on my mum's side, only the immediate ones, but majority of them are overseas and we meet once in 10 years!

Anyway...after that, I heard my uncle, uncle Maiden...met with an accident the day before, my dad was already there, so we drove straight to Melawati from Senawang to visit...it was a bad accident...check out the picture of the car from the scene, it's really scary, I could have lost my uncle...but he was in one piece, thank God!
And after playing Uno with my uncles kids i.e. my younger cousins, we decided to go the usual hang out...this time just Azita, Elaine n Me at first, Natasha & Put Pendek i.e. Putri Intan (elaine gave her that name to differentiate her from our Puput!) joined later followed by Kamal & Jeff...nothing much...no games, just borak2 & teasing some people :)
With the younger cousins...Uncle Maiden's kids i.e. Shazlin, Shahirah & Mirzan, Dina tak amik gambar pun...next time lah
