the weekend @ Pavillion...
Last Sat & Sun I was at Pavillion, almost the whole day, well, Saturday Su gave us free tickets for the Indiana Jones, then we went for karaoke (as usual), at night, met up with my cousins at the same place, so yeah was there the whole day!
Then on Sun, we had a birthday celebration for Put at TGIF, not really her birthday yet, but since I wouldn't be around on her birthday (06-06), so we planned it in advance..hope you had fun Put!
here are some pictures from Put's pre-birthday celebration...the theme was all black (not for the birthday gurl, but she came in almost black...she cud read our minds!)

the workshop @ UKM 22-05-08
Attended a workshop at UKM yesterday, "Actuarial Modelling and Risk Management Studies", it was also a ceremony of Exchanging Letter of Intent between Faculty of Science and Technology, UKM and Watson Wyatt-UConn Actuarial Center.
It was and educational experience for me (being an Actuarial Science graduate) as I have not worked in an Insurance firm or Actuarial dept to be more spesific since I graduated, this workshop actually showed me what Actuaries do and the importance of Risk Management in the insurance field, of course I knew about Risk Management but I also learned the different approaches, in terms of modelling of asset and liabilities (on a broder scale) between the insurance and banking industry. I'm glad I got the invite from UKM and was allowed to attend it by my company, at least I didn't have to take leave :)
Also got to meet up with my coursemates, Tian Poh, Eng Soon, Kok Keong & Yit Wei. Haven't met them since we graduated though we do keep in touch through forwarded emails and during festive occasions.
ohh, and I helped Lyack invite the lecturers to her wedding, so I was going around passing the wedding cards (as if I was the one getting married...hahah). My lecturers were like "alhamdullillah", "Congratulations"...etc, for a few seconds until I went like "Not mine!" heheh, then comes the next question "awak bila" or "bila lagi"...as usual lah...

It was a nice long weekend, definately a great break from work! I always hate it when I have to get back to work the next day, thinking of all the unresolved issue and this new project that I'm working on is just tiring, I've got lots of reading to catch up for this project and I need to understand the GL line and products of each business unit..sheesh..and it has to happen soon cos everything is urgent!

Yeay! dah abis both paper, and tadi sempat tengok wayang after the paper, "What happen in VEGAS", best best...although we already kinda know how the ending would be... & sempat gak gi karaoke for 3 hours with Su, Myra & Haslina...
now have to concentrate on work pulak..dah dapat new assigment that requires lots of reading...will be involved in the FTP project...

My mum has been asking me to follow her to office to meet this doctor that practises alternative medicine...for consultation to loose weight of course..what else is new kan...so here I am in Damansara, went to meet the doctor, and...the outcome?
As the rest of the consultation that I have gone for, I have to help myself first before they can help me...so another round of lecture asking me to change my lifestyle and telling me what to eat and what not to eat session...have gotten used to it, so now back to the original plan of steady dieting and exercising...just that I need to increase the exercise and do it more frequently after this...
Anyway, sempat go to see the dentist, as have been informed by my previous dentist, I need to wear braces! arghh..tak sukanya dah tua-tua camnie baru kena pakai...why not earlier? isk..I better get to it before I get even older later and have to wear it! so korang-korang nie...jgn nak make fun ok...I dah bagitau awal-awal nie...
As for updates on the reunion that we are organising, susahnya nak engage sponsors ni, banyak tul kerja and Elaine & I dah pegi survey souveniors for the dinner, again kena discuss balik la all the budget constrains...plus we have to start working on the art and design stuff for printing...so Azita, when should we call for the next meeting? I wanna start delegating work la...we can't be doing everything..lets engage the others too...
ohh latest news from Michelle (masa lunch with amm & her at Ali Bistro, PBD), Mich is taking the next step...the wedding is most probably next year...congrats Mich!

Thanks for all the doa and good luck wishes from all, including Su's blog and the sms's in morning...now we need all the luck to pass...as usual we answered all the questions, but whether we got the concept right or not...hmm ntah la... I'm not very good at reading subjects since before... not good at memorizing... so yeah I didn't remember lots of things too...
