Free Gold Class tix!

I'm so happy today, got free tickets from our CRO, this is the first time getting anything like this after a long time working here...they should do this more often :)

Only three from my team was selected to receive this free tickets time of which one has already resigned! So, instead of getting two tix each, we split the two tickets, one I get to the take & the other LKL take.

So korang2 yang dah berebut tix nie, don't forget the date, pavillion after work k?!

Full moon lunch set...

Today...we had a specially delivered lunch set. It's from Glennise, she has completed her full moon (abis pantang sebulan++)..so this was what she gave all of us in the department...

The food was good, the chicken curry was really good

The two red eggs (why 2 & why red anyone?)...taste like normal boiled eggs..

In the box was the pulut kuning, chicken curry, 2 red eggs and there was this red kuih, kinda nyonya traditional stuff, forgot to take picture of it!

We, my new lunch group (Suhaila, Aziah, Chi Yng) had lunch in the office at one of the empty cubicles (since we don't have pantry here! -->sempat lagi nak lepas marah/geram kat dept nie).

Interest Rate Cut!

This was meant to be written yesterday when the news was released, am so glad that BNM at the MPC meeting decided to cut the interest rate by lowering the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) by 25 basis points (0.25%). Now OPR is at 3.25%. I'm just waiting for the BLR to follow suit & my loan repayment can finish faster! (provided no more interest hikes)...

Current BLR 6.75%, expected to drop to 6.50%. As usual the banks will adjust any upward rate ASAP but lowering of rates will be a little delayed...by next month it should be reflected in our statements.

23-11-08: Sg Congkak with friends...

Bai organized a Sg Congkak this morning, initially there were like 6 people coming, but, ended up only the four of us went...we stayed over at wawa's place the night before, went for Ikan Bakar at Restoran Sri Murni, Kg Jawa, nice place, good food!

We went to Sg Congkak this morning around 10am, packed nasi lemak & karipap supposedly prepared by us (more like Bai & Wawa), but ended up Wawa's mum prepared it for us, since we got up late, hahaha, due to the late session the night before, chatting away until 4am...

Anyway, we were at Sg Congkak up to 1.45pm, siap makan nasi lemak dalam air tu (well separuh badan dalam air that is, nanti ada lak kata kitrg makan macam ikan!)

I had fun, hope there's more trips like this in the future...

Friday 21-11: game night!

Frequent readers must be wondering, since when I had game night?? Well it just came up, we decided to lepak at the usual spot to makan2, but play games for a change, so, Put brought her Taboo & Special Cards...why special...check it out...!

The cute cards & the game begins...

MONYET!!
We were to lazy to play taboo, since one team member always has to check on the other to make sure the words on the card choosen are not used (that means having to leave her seat each time), so amyrah suggested we play MONYET (card game) so no one needs to move around.

This is how it goes, each one is given 5 cards, and one card in the middle with the remaining deck, the first person to get a running number (by throwing & picking a card at each turn), has to quietly place her cards on the table, any other player who notices that a player has placed the card on the table is to follow, whether or not they have the running numbers, the last person to notice - losses the game & earns a letter starting with "M", and the game goes on, until any one person reaches from "M","O","N","Y","E","T", that means anyone who losses the game 6 times, they become the monkey for the day...

Pada tanggal 21 November yang lepas, bersamaan dengan hari Jumaat, sejenis permainan santai telah diadakan di kalangan pemudi yang hampir bergelar andartu di Restoran Andalus sewaktu mereka lepak-lepak menikmati juadah enak ala Arab sambil …. Permainan tersebut diberi nama M.O.N.Y.E.T. Dan malang sekali pada hari yang mulia itu, Ija telah kalah dengan teruk dan nampaknya beliau adalah orang pertama yang berjaya merangkul gelaran MONYET. Denda yang dikenakan adalah membuat aksi monyet comel ala andartu, tetapi tidak dapat berbuat demikian kerana kesuntukan masa dan Ija agak malu untuk mengetengahkan bakatnya dan memerlukan sedikit masa untuk berlatih. Walau bagaimana pun aksi tersebut di tunda ke hari yang akan diberitahu kelak. Sekian, terima kasih"

Visiting New Borns Weekend...

Visited 2 new borns last weekend, one my office mate, Glennise & the other is my cousin Nadira or also known among the cousins as Potz...anyway, both of them delivered a beautiful baby girl. Also not forgetting my x-colleague Sook Mei & a colleague from a different department, Aisyah delivered a baby boy last friday each...Congratulations to all the happy couples!!!!

First I made my way to Ampang Point to get some gifts, also Shaheeran's belated gift for baby Qashfea...Poh Kong had a good customer (me!!!) this week, buying 3 gold stuff for the 3 babies. Glennise had the best since hers was a gift from the department & I get to choose it, I'm glad she liked it! (well its for her baby not her). Anyway, then I went to Bukit Jalil picked up my friend, and waited for Suhaila & Kuan Leng to arrive, guess what, for once I actually was on time & better still early!

Then we met Heng Teng at BK2 shell station & waited for Glennise's husband to come & get us. Baby Vin Chii was sleeping when we got there, as usual la kan babies!! So we took pictures... :)
