I remember we used to play this game during Uni days when we were in Kolej Keris Mas, we would try break each others records, and now..after a few years, I find myself being addicted to this game again... a simple yet addictive game...Snood...remember it Suria? her name is still on the scoreboard list!

Well Suria...I kicked you off the Evil scoreboard! heheh


Anyway..this post is dedicated to the frequent players once upon a time...Suria, Amm, Lyack, Niza, Cin, Mai, Pjart, Su, Kak Noyz... :)

BBGS Memories...

Went to Waterfront with Eliana the other day, ingat nak pekena Roti bakar & coffee before swimming, and we saw this familiar car & person in the car...and I said...OMG thats our teacher! We practically looked for her once we had parked the car and saw her walking into the lights shop...yes..we were like stalkers ..ikut semata-mata nak say 'hi' to her!

She remembers our faces but not our names, well yeah having thought 1000 over students, can't expect her to remember kan...so she was asking us what are we doing and also kinda surprise that Eliana and I are still friends...like you know...most people loose contact with their school mates...but we are still in touch..she was happy to see us and was glad that we did say 'hi' to her


Ingat tak korang...BBGS Class 1U & 2U 1994/5 class teacher??

Yup...that's her Pn.Wahidah...meeting her after 10 years + and she is soo small...well she was that small too when we were in school, bak kata Eliana, "we were smaller then".

Anyway...Cikgu suruh ajak if anyone of us gets married...we have her number...

New years deal this time...

I was clearing my mails as usual in the mornings and came accross my daily astrology as per below:

Dear Shaz,
Here is your horoscope for Tuesday, December 30:
You've got a lot to be proud of as you look back on the year and ought to be able to build on it as you look forward to the next one. It's a really good time to think of positive resolutions for the coming year.

this triggered me to do the resolution thingy...read on...

my so called proud accomplishments this year:
1. My successful surprise party for my mum - thank you again to the committee members i.e. family & friends you know who you are
2.Decided to join herbalife program although it wasnt really a success, but at least I made that decision to join & stop my weight from adding on...managed to maintain (or go down about 5kg's) this year!
3. Went to Bali with friends! - yes this is considered an accomplishment, its my first trip out of Malaysia with friends...& Went to India for my cousin's wedding...it was great meeting up with everyone there!
4. Completed 3 papers of CIFP, another 3 to go for part 1 since I skipped one semester!
5. Organized a successful 10 yr highschool reunion for my batch, again thank you again to the committee members.
6. Join the gym & have been going steadily for the past 1 and a half month, can't say there's any reduction in kg's since the machine can't capture 100kg's and above (yes I am more than 100kg's but I don't care since I'm gonna be a lot lesser next year!)
7. Paid & cut off 2 banks credit card
8. Paid off 70% of debts

I think thats it for this year...nothing much right...well something is always better than nothing :)


My positive resolution this year...lets see...
1. Loose 30kg's (achievable?)
2. Be punctual
3. Complete CIFP part 1
4. Climb the corporate ladder
5. Continue paying off debts & start saving lots of $$
6. And the easy ones is going to Bandung in Feb & Singapore in May (not really a resolutions but vacations in the pipeline..heheh

Anything else that I should add? Do remind me...salamz for now...

Gold Class & Lunch?

I love the long weekend holidays, but face it, we tend to get bored if just stayed all 3 days at home, so on the 3rd day, which was yesterday, Elaine & I meet up with Put at OU 3.30pm, after my Gym session, ok ok...sorry Elaine...I was late...my mum made this really nice lamb shank & I just had to have lunch first...I was too good to resist! heheh

Anyway...I felt as though we had this bad luck following us, well not sooo bad, but just enough to irritate & disappoint us, first was the parking issue, it was sooo hard to find a spot...we went like round n round in the new wing, until we finally crossed over to the old one and went to level 5 above the sri pentas to park, yeah at jaya jusco area, that was like a long walk back to the new wing (btw I did try the 'secret' thingy..It didn't work this time...It always works with me!)...anyways, Elaine bought a new shoe before we reached the new wing & had Hagen Diaz!

So we reached the movies, met up with Put there, due to the long line, we decided to go for Gold Class & watch Australia...one of us cried like hell, but it sure wasn't me :)

After purchasing the Rm40 ticket, we wanted to have lunch/tea at delicious, we had an hour plus before the movie started, so we had a lot of time to kill...we sat down, it was hot, we were sweating, but didn't want to complain, after 10 mins we called the waiter to take our order (yes we had to call them, that too twice! before they noticed us!)...we placed our orders 2 orange juice & one apa ntah juice put ordered, after having to make decisions on what to eat...mine wasn't available (the homemade pesto spaghetinni)…So I simply changed it to carbonara...Elaine ordered the beef spaghetti & put burger or was it sandwich...never mind! It never came!!!

The only thing we did...take pictures...


Not only that they didn't send our plain water, we had to ask for it twice, we also noticed other tables, at which those came later than us got their orders first and some were about to finish! Then I called the waiter and asked him for plain water & asked him to check on our orders, guess what, after waiting half an hour, he comes n tells us there was a mix up with the order and we said we had to leave by 5.30pm! he gave us the option of canceling the order and so we did...so we went there just to drink plain water, eliana was soo hungry! kesian dia...She didn't even drink; scared if it would give her bad luck??!

Anyway we went to subway, take away and went for the movie...it was 3 hours! Soo worth watching it in gold class and I'm soo loving the gold class! wanna go again!!



Anyway...after the movie, we were still hungry stopped at A&W, I had my float & waffles while Elaine had her fried chicken & put the potatoes, met puts parents & Arif...then we left...

Of course since Elaine & I had to walk all the way back to the car park...there were naturally stops for shopping!! & I spent almost RM600...haih...credit cards...its a dangerous item!

Meeting Adam & Iman...

Catching up outing again yesterday, this time I get to meet Mai, Safri & Baby Adam...dah 3 months pun...so cute! anyway...we went to see Lin & baby, Mai came to KL just for that purpose...biasa la, best friend bersalin, takkan tak tengok kan....

Found out that Lin has decided a different name for her baby boy, its now Iman Mustaqim...and here's their baby pic's, Iman 13 days & Adam 3 mths


and here's us! Lin & Mai doing the mother's talk...so I was there to play with the babies...the dad's just watching us buat keycoh! hahaha
 Mama & baby Adam - warms up to people easily, really cute & tak banyak ragam, lucky Mai!

Anyway...after the visit, we went to Old Town White Coffee for supper (actually dinner, but since the timing was supper, so supper lah kan)...Thanks Mai for the treat! :)

Game Night II - Xmas eve

...this time Eliana & Nadia (Elaine's colleague) joined us...we played the old times fav Uno! All in we played 6 games but the number of players reduced after the first two games as Put & Azita had to go home, Cinderella curfew!

Juara bertahan Nadia - won 4 outta 5 games (one game I won, and the other Eliana)
Loser bertahan - Eliana lost 4 outta 6 games - tak pe la, first time main! (One game Azita lost & the other Myra)
Orang yang tak penah menang and tak penah kalah Put
Orang yang tak penah menang but lost one time Myra (saja nak cakap to irritate her!) but Azita, u fall in here jugak! heheh

I took 2 days off after I got back from Penang, its more of a holiday for no reason...people say I'm wasting my leave...but I don't mind...I wanna rest...

What I did was..some cathing up...Met up with Almira & Syrun & their little cutie Syamel for lunch at BSC, we went to Chillies.

That's like meeting Mira after 3 years, didn't realize it was that long, feels like she just got married & left for UK...but it has been 3 years...Kesian her hubby, kena mendengar all the girl talk...ahaks! Little Syamel is adorable...I like babies when they actually come to me...heheh...here's some pictures...



then after BSC, I decided to do another catching up with my cousins kids, Shazad & Qaish, been sometime since I spent time with them...they were happy to see me, running out of the house as I got down from the car...so nice!!

Anyway, Shazad insisted I take him out to makan, just the two of us, tak bagi Qaish follow, and his mom too...but of course I can't just leave Qaish, so we waited for my cousin to get back from work, and we went to KFC...the kids wanted to go there for the playground...not so much the food...so I got my catch up stories from my cousins Nadira & Maheran...
here we are...



The next day, I spent my time at the gym, catching up with the fat burning after eating away during the weekend! used my free body massage, now sakit badan! & I also did another catch up session with my cousins Azman & Azlinah...took them out for Roti Canai, then we went home & watched "Taken". Azman recomended that I watch it..It was good...

They had a cat, I kept screaming as it came near me, most of the time my cousins keep bringing it to me. haih! then their cousins came...Shazan, Shariza & Shazwan...Shazwan (6+ years old) was amused by my screams each time he brought the cat over, and he was enjoying it! and my Uncle Babu also joined in, they locked the door & brought the cat to me, I was of course screaming away, until the cat jumped out of their hands & ran up!

You see, my screams worked to scare the cat! and then I left...I was tired screaming!! not only can the cat get a heart attack, I can too! I told Uncle Babu, if he does that again, I'm not gonna go there..hahaha..so he wont!

Gifts!

I love receiving gifts, well who doesn't!...last year we received a mug containing choc's from the CRO, and this year, we had a choice of the two, well, most probably the blue one was out of stock, we had to draw lots...



I got the box of chocs!

Really yummy Belgian Chocs...sorry guys, I just opened it in the office & made sure it was finished the same day...too dangerous to keep them, end up...I yg makan semua nanti!

Doa selamat n berinai....

Last tues (16/12/08) we had my cousins malam berinai, he is a guy, but we just want to have a baca doa before we leave for Penang for the Akad & then...we continued with berinai kecik (which I thought only happens for the girls side), anyway, I put on the hindustan songs and did the 'kelam kabut' mc-ing for the ceremony.

Anyway, normally on these kinda functions, I noticed how people i.e. aunties keep saying "you'll be the next" to all of my cousins yang cantik2 you know...like of course I don't have a problem with it since I don't have "anyone" to be the "next" pun, no pressure is good...but the fact that no one bothers to say "you're next" is getting to me lately, because in a way, I feel like no one actually prays for me to be the next in these kinda functions! It's like only those that are beautiful can be next...you know? (not that I want to so much..well not yet lah).

But last week, my grandaunt and an aunt said that to me...and I was kinda happy, I find it weird that I actually was. Maybe its because its a grand aunt, so it carries more weight when she says it, and I actually start to believe that its possible since lately I don't see my life heading in that direction. Don't go getting ideas now, It's not like I'm in that path yet... I'm still waiting for THE ONE...it's just that it feels good to hear it...heheh

and ppl..when i talk about cantik here, im not talking about juz the face, im talking about the whole package & im not doing the "flappou..." (what's the word again put?) -->kena mention kang ada yg sound aku balik! so u know lah what I mean...

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil-Adha

Wishing all Eid Mubarak!!!



*Been home all day yesterday and today, out of energy...trying to get well...been having fever on and off, flu and a bad cough, funny...I just had it last month too... missed gym twice this week!

Anyway...there was a pleasant surprise on friday night, my Uncle Harry, Aunty Shammi & cousin Hisham (not seen him in 11+ years) arrived at our doorstep (from Jeddah) with no advance notice! they use to do that when I was younger. There was this one time, I came back from school, took a nap, dreamt of them arriving in the airport, and guess who woke me up? my uncle...found that kinda wierd with the dream n all...

The reason they dropped by to Malaysia was to checkout the Universities here for my cousin...he is very interested to do Computer Engineering, so they are looking for Uni's either in India or Malaysia. I hope they pick here :)

Anyway..it was a nice family reunion the past week, first it was Noria & Raja from Singapore, and a couple days later them, too bad Noria and Raja left already, otherwise it could have a great get together. It's not easy to get all my mum's family members in one place at a time, they are all over the world...
