Primabumi: 33rd Anniversary Dinner

Monday 28 July 08, Held at Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur, 7.30pm, attended by representatives of hospital from all over Malaysia and pharmaceutical companies, about 1,500 guest expected for the night... the VVIP guest were Sultan Kedah, Raja Perlis & Raja Muda Perlis, and the VIPs were various Ministers from the cabinet...



MC for the day was Datuk Mahazir Lokman who caused a blunder in the programmes, instead of announcing that appetizers would be served to the guest, he did not tell them to remain seated, but simply said "Bon Appetite". Of course guest just got up and headed to the buffet table!


Tan Sri Ariffin have not even given his speech yet, the door gift were not out yet, well what's done is done, programme continued but wasn't as planned... marahnye kat mc nie..tu lengkali suruh datang meeting to discuss program...datang la..kan menyusahkan orang! The crowd i.e guests couldn't be controlled once the buffet started...Well apart from that the rest of the event was great...checkout the pictures..

I like this song from this hindi movie...this is the movie I watch with my cousins (Rasha & Muna) in India, it was a hit in India, anyway...for some reason I can relate to this song...Loved Shahid Kapoor's character in this movie...Aditya Kashyap...haih..if only there was someone like this... :)

Here's a follow up from my previous baby boomin post...Tomek delivered a beautiful baby girl (Nur Alya Irdina) on 18 July 08 [friday night]

Got an sms from my schoolmate Wan Saarah, she delivered a baby boy on 18 July 08 as well...Also, found out that Hanif's wife had delivered a baby girl (Putri Batrisyah Izzati) the same week, a day or two earlier at the same hospital as Tomek & Sharil.

Put & me went to visit the two baby girls, but only one was available to see us (Alya)...we took pictures of course...click here for the pictures (linked to Put's blog).

Kinda lazy to upload the pictures from my camera (meaning hp camera lar - hint hint...my bday is coming up..anyone wanna get me camera? heheh, pretty sure tak de sapa nak layan pun!)

Just a reminder to myself and others... (Source: forwarded emails) :)

An elderly man in Mumbai calls his son in New York and says, 'I hate to ruin your day son, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are getting a divorce; 35 years of marriage... and that much misery is enough!' 'Dad, what are you talking about?' the son screams.'We can't stand the sight of each other any longer,' the old man says.'We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Hong Kong and tell her!' Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. 'Like heck they're getting divorced,' she shouts, 'I'll take care of this.' She calls Mumbai immediately, and screams at the old man, 'You are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR??' and she hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. 'Okay', he says, 'It's all set. They're both coming for Diwali and paying their own airfare!!'

MORAL:No man / woman is busy in this world all 365 days. The sky is not going to fall down if you take few days LEAVE and meet your dear ones.OFFICE WORK IS NOT EVERYTHING IN LIFE and MONEY MAKING IS NOT EVERYTHINGIN LIFE. AFTER ALL WE WORK FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S DREAM..

Annoyed with a motorcyclist

This morning, as I was driving to work, I got annoyed with a motorcyclist. Some people just got no manners! It was at a traffic light at Jalan Ampang, it was red light and I stopped (no… I’m saying I’m a good driver, there’s more).

Anyway...suddenly this motorcycle just comes so fast from the back and hits my side mirror, until it turned outwards. Well I know these things happens, but the part that got me annoyed was due to the fact that he didn't bother to turn around and show a sorry sign (by lifting up the hands or something) he just went right to the front. What’s the hurry??? It was red light...not that he could get anywhere anyway!! Most of the motorcyclist that I have encountered that does this is very apologetic, so I have no issues with them, not like this one this morning…so rude…of course this is not the first for me...there's more, just thought of how these things can disturb our mood and our perfect morning...…

Baby boomin' 08

So whats with the title? well, just got sms that tomeq is warded, gonna deliver anytime! yeay!

Yesterday, cinkole lak..told me she's like 4 months already...heh another baby due this year...

Babies due this year:
In the family: my cousins - Reezal & kak Lin..getting a baby boy, his sister, Shaheeran & Reza getting a baby girl & my cousin Nadira & Burhan a baby girl! all due in either Nov or Dec 08

Friends: Tomeq & Sharil - tomorrow!!, Wan Saarah (soon), Diana (Oct 08), Mai & Safri - soon (next month kot), Cinkole & Fendi (end Dec 08), Izliana & Harris (Most prob next year!)

Then there's my colleagues here in the office, two of them, Glennise and Sook Mei, due almost the same time, just about a week or two apart, and Sook Mei's on my team, so I'll be team less in Nov...gonna get more busier soon!

Congratulations to Zahirra on her 3rd child - baby boy...sorry tak sempat meet up when you were in KL..see you soon, I hope..

I really need to go shopping for baby presents...I'm like constantly shopping either for wedding gifts or baby presents this year...

I'm juz lovin' it...

I'm soo loving the hindi movie Jab We Met, my cousin recomended it during my stay in India, so I bought the DVD, and it was great...I just love Shahid kapoor especially during the bhangra at Geet's (Kareena Kapoor) house. Kareena too was good...prefer her without make up..she looks really good in this movie (yes I didn't really like her before).

Just got my aunt & uncle, together with my parents to watch it...& they enjoyed it as well. Last week, introduced it to Put..& she too likes Shahid Kapoor! hehhehe..

Anyway..managed to submit essays & project paper on time..fuhh..thank god my mum helped me out...the way I've been so busy with work & the reunion dinner organization lately, I couldn't have done it myself...glad this is over...next exam paper in just a week plus...hmm...

12 July 08: Happy 30th Birthday to my sister Nas...May Allah bless you always...

Eliana...have you made up your mind to join the Police force? (saja nak make it public...hehehe)
