It was a great week…started off the back2back birthday celebrations for Jun babies at ‘The Magnificent’ on 2nd June, the fish & chips was almost as good as the ones at UK..close enough...
Happy Birthday to Lop & Rod (3rd June) & Put (6th June)! Dinner was great…
Next was the surprise birthday dinner for Put on 3rd June…with 2 days notice from her dad…we managed to pull this one off…thanks to all involved! Was she SURPRISED? hell yeah!!
Let’s see, I planned a dinner with the upper kes gang, so she didn’t suspect anything was gonna happen, Arif took care of the cake (cupcakes from Wonderland!) & balloons, while Ayna handled the cousins & family invites…Imran, Nana & Egy distracted her by taking her out for a movie…a horrible one apparently! Hahaha …and by 8.30pm upperkes were there, huda & baim just walked in and got a separate table, then sharil & tomek arrived and I summoned Put to join them, leaving Imran, Nana & Egy to be free to meet the family, almost kantoi at MPH bookstores as most of the family n cousins were there, and they had to hide from her! That’s funny, but she was oblivious, did not notice them, thank god for that! Hahah…
I arrived at Italianies by 8.40pm with Elaine, yeah I was late, huh organizer got stuck in the rain n ampang madness jam (1.5 hrs)! It looked normal too since I'm like always late! Anyways, luckily not that late, so we were talking n having dinner as usual, we ordered and went ahead with dinner, it seemed more real…and by 9pm this big group of ppl juz walked in from the back and surprised her...with the cake & balloons and the party hat for the birthday gurl, it was definitely havoc for a moment, heck I was surprised too…since they came in without texting me, I wasn’t ready with the camera even!
She got loadz of presents mostly from her wish list published on FB – something like 11 books!…and the present from her parents…the one that she wanted but was afraid of having it, since she calls her friends, cousins n family zombies…well now she has become one…welcome to the smart world phone Put!
Next day, 4th June, off to JB, Nat joined in last minute…delaying our journey (tertinggal passport lah!)...and causing us not to get the nasi lemak at Ayer Keroh! Huhu, we reached JB at 2am++. Put drove all the way, while nat & I took turns to sleep heh…dera the bday gurl sket..
Next day, 5th June: off to Singapore with Put, Izan & Nat…Got stuck 2 hrs to get into S’pore…we reached at 3pm, this trip was for us to supposedly juz chill & eat Swenson’s, but…as the Great Sale was on...we ended up shopping !:D … Charles & Keith…really made me spend! Later at night, we manage to visit my cousin Noria’s newborn Lil Daanish @ 3 mths too…thanks to Izan for making this Singapore trip happen!
Later on the way back from Singapore, enduring another round of Jam, we stopped at Singgah Selalu for dinner…it was already 11pm by then…and lepas makan…another round of celebration for the bday gurl…well…she didn’t know this cake was coming too…hahah..tensen je Put asyik kena tipu by me…which means by lying skills has gotten better…*Yes!!*
Happy Birthday Put! Enjoy the last of the twenties…next year I know ur gonna pull a Rachel & I’m suppose to slap you…but could we juz get out of the country and travel somewhere instead!!?!!
Later that night we went crazy, instead of being normal, tired and just sleep, we went looking for wireless at mamak around JB…yeah at 3am jalan2 carik pasal…*mentang2 takde parents supervision* bila lagi nak buat keja gila kan…plus they don’t read our blogs, so it’s ok..hehe…we got back home ard 5am, nope, did not sleep…we watched GLEE ep21...after that, we pengsan..but not for long, there was some renovation work going on outside the house and to our horror, the workers worked on Sunday, so at 9am, the drilling and hammering was going on...so yeah, we woke up! Arghh..
So on 6th June, we went to watch Lagenda Budak Setan at Tebrau City, had lunch at Kenny Rogers, since it was the same level with GSC, too tired to walk…we juz wanted to eat n watch movie! Huhu..Izan couldn’t join us for the movie, but she did for dinner later at Sg Chat, Assam Pedas…Masak lemak situ mmg best…and the telur masin Udang thingy was good too..Nat came too with her friends later, and Mai, Safri & Adam (1 yrs +) came later…nice meeting them..Adam was having fever..kesian dia..
(Review LBS: ok for me, I didn’t read the book yet! And the actors & actress did a good job, it was like a snapshot of events, not the full story, but we get the story from the short scenes, but what’s with the camera close-ups?)
Finally 7th June: suppose to leave for KL…but we were too lazy! It’s like we didn’t wanna go home..hurm.. left the house 4pm+ and headed to George & Dragon for scones & mini lamb cutlet…nyumehh! Izan met up with us after work…lepak jap until 6.40pm, then we left JB… :(
Stop at Ayer Keroh for our Nasi Lemak…but no ayam rendang laks, we were too early this time…haih..macam2..
8th June: Woke up with a migraine, got half day leave and clocked in at 2pm at office...(^_^)
