Birthday's in April

Last week, 15 Apr 09 to be exact, was full of birthday celebrations, first, it was celebration of Tini & Shanta's birthday in the office, Tini was generous to buy pizza & it became a pizza party..there were lots of left overs...I think we ordered too much for tea time :)

Happy birthday to Shanta (15 Apr)& her staff Tini (02 Apr)

Next, was a family affair, my sis Zahira's birthday dinner, three of her friends joined us, more cakes & of course the northern indian cuisine that we always go for Aryan restaurant at the weld..


And here's all of us...

yeah...3 secret recipe cakes for the day...wow! their business must be good! :)

Belated birthday wishes to my friends Dina, Aisyah & Wan Saarah also my cousin Shereen who turned a year older on 13th April...

& Happy birthday in advance to my colleague Farrah (24 Apr)
May all the April babies dreams come true...

Gifts!

I love receiving gifts, well who doesn't!...last year we received a mug containing choc's from the CRO, and this year, we had a choice of the two, well, most probably the blue one was out of stock, we had to draw lots...



I got the box of chocs!

Really yummy Belgian Chocs...sorry guys, I just opened it in the office & made sure it was finished the same day...too dangerous to keep them, end up...I yg makan semua nanti!

And another resignation!

my team mate resigned on 24 hours noticed last wednesday, my boss has asked her to stay till the end of the week..which is today...now all things will just fall on my plate! arghh

No I'm not angry with her, just shocked me that by attending 1st interview, the job is offered, and that too to buy over the 3 months notice period... i knew she wasn't happy here...but I just didn't expect it to be so soon! They must be desperate for risk professional these days...even a compliant has been lodged to central bank on the issues of staff pinching for a particular bank to another..

now...I keep geting this question "When are you leaving/resigning?" & I say "Soon" heh...ye ker? I feel its so hard to leave this first job of mine plus the team is more like a skeleton now with people constantly leaving...maybe I should ask for a raise!! But still..I too need to move on...but I wanna move to middle east!!
