The Damn Cards...

Today..I did something I am so very proud of! I cancelled my credit card again....huhu...okay why I say again is because, I obviously did cancel this same credit card before, but then I got a call from the Bank negociating with me to keep it and saying they will reimburse my RM50 I had to pay to maintain the card the previous year. So I thought, why not just keep it and take my money back...and right...I fell right into the trap of holding it back!

I didn't get my money back because I didn't use the card within that 3 months, but I started using the card recently, on top of the other credit cards that I have, anyway, I realized that I had to cancel it for good this time because its becoming my 3rd back up card and having a 2nd one is bad enough, I don't need to have a 3rd one! I am spending way too much...and I have got to stop it! *I'm gonna settle my credit card debts!!*

So I decided to stop swiping, pay it off and cancel it...and I did it today! yeay! one down! another *ehem2* to go...:D

It's happening again...

Back to where I was last year...the exact same feelings... Disappointments...regrets...another loss... I told myself not to expect anything but being human...I expected...I hoped...and now I'm facing the consequences...why is it hard for me to be happy? Facing the 5 stages of grieve is tiring...

I'm suppose to take risks in these matters but the downside tradeoff is not worth it! I'd rather just stayed as I was...this didn't have to happen...why me?

Have been thinking lately on the effect I have on people...

some people really hate me! gosh...and to think that I really didn't do anything to them but be myself, which was acceptable at some point in their lives when we were once friends. Well, I know people change, but whats with the expectation that we change along with them? Why do I have to like the things they like & hate the things they hate? You don't have to like me, but hate? really? lol

It's been more than 10 years from the time we left school days, a lot of us were different back then, and we got along well, and when we left to pursue our studies and some did not keep in touch some did, what can we expect the other to be? not change at all, or to have changed so much or to be the same? I am pretty much the same, the way I am, most people say I am the same but some really changed to the point that they hate the way I am or am I just being misunderstood? Why question what I do? Seriously every single move I make you have to question? Well I'm not gonna even try anymore with this, all I did was try to close the gap by creating a conversation, but even that my intentions were questioned...hmm well I tried...

Well it just gets me thinking, what will happen to the friendships I have now 10 years down the road? Can't bear loosing friendships year in and year out, it's really sad. And the kind that when you were once so close, when you loose it, you just can't find your way back. I wonder why was the friendships so fragile? gotta analyze this, but I think the gist of it was lies, never lie to your friend coz when the truth sets out, it destroys the friendship.

On lies, you may think that you are covering your friend from something that you decided to lie about, but in the long run, we really don't need the hypocrite kinda relationships...it's a no go...

One question though...is it ok to test your friendship on a close friend? Like why would you choose to do that? Can't it just be in a form of question instead of tests that you have to self engineer or sit n discuss with someone else? I think we do this a lot not noticing it..maybe...I don't know...but I have seen real live cases and I think it's just immature. However I do test, after I asked the question n been lied to, so what else is there for me to do but to test it? Immature me! lol

A friends advice to me "Relationship is like a glass. Sometimes is better to leave it broken rather than to hurt yourself trying to putting it back together." I guess it's true...

After almost a year...

It’s almost a year and I find out what was the problem from the very beginning.

When I posted that blog on how I got upset over something that was said to me, at least you knew that I was upset and came to explain that those words were not meant for me. But when you cried that Tuesday after that conversation with me which I didn’t know about just until today, you never did tell me anything about did. You spoke to the "whole world" except me and left me alone to rot when you knew I was upset over the other bigger issue. First rule - when some is upset, don’t come and discuss matters especially sensitive ones like what I should and shouldn’t do and who I can or can’t talk to, big mistake, if I reacted in any way that made you upset, you should realize that I obviously needed time to cool off, and that time was never given to me from Sunday, why is it when you need time to cool off, you can take more than 3 months? And yet still treating me or made me feel like I was some kind of disease that you needed to get away from at the recent wedding?

I'm sorry I made you cry but it wasn’t my intention and I didn’t even know that it upset you that much, for me it was being abandon for 1+ months. The point is at least you knew when I was upset but I was never made aware of it. Lies Lies & Lies from the beginning, picking on petty issues was all you have been doing up until 2nd Jan 2011 while the other person denies everything, no issues with me...yeah right!!

Maybe I can’t blame you all, you like to talk behind my back so much to the point that you think you actually made an effort to patch things up with me, when really you did nothing except for that one phone call saying you missed me and asked me if I’m free to meet up, and when I was and I knew you were, all the sudden the third person couldn’t make it and it was cancelled? Why I wonder, I am that bad that you just couldn’t talk to me without the presence of another, you needed to be babysitted and you still do, or else you wouldn’t keep decline my invite for a heart to heart talk...some friend you are. I dreamt of you, I dreamt that we actually spoke like we used to, I was happy for a moment in that dream, but when I woke up, I knew that was impossible, not with an egoistic liar like you. You can blow up such a tiny issue, who thought you were like that, you instill hate in people and when one notices it, you try harder to make me look bad. And worse still all the assumptions that were made about me...I can’t believe the picture painted by you, it’s as if I’m a villain ever so happy to welcome your entourage to the other side! OMG, for heaven’s sake...Grow up! There’s no side’s from the beginning, you managed to create that all by yourself, congratulations! I’m sure your happy with your creations now.

Now that it’s been a year and I’m tired of hiding things from people, especially when they invite me out and expect you to be there and I have to keep coming up with excuses, it’s time to blow it all off. Why I say this is because when a warning is given to another with harsh words it just shows how unforgiving all of you are, when the actual problem was actually with one person at the table, the rest was not involved but volunteered to be in a drama which was never ending. And funny thing is, that person and the other that was affected by my actions have forgiven me while the rest still holds on to anger and hate towards me and another person for no apparent reason, or is there an unspoken reason behind all this...I know there is, but yeah all is well in that world and keep on refusing to talk about it.

Question is, how can friend make a friend choose between two close friends is something I can’t understand. I never did choose, who was there for me stayed as my friend and this individual dared asked me “Why you choose her over Us?”. And being proud as they have always been, they will never ever admit to what they said or did behind my back. All the lies that were told, all the denials of the truth...and yet I still wish we were able to be as we were. I’m stupid for wanting such things, I don’t use friends, I don’t abandon them in their time of need, I don’t do things to intentionally hurt people, what I did was with reason and when a negative thought appears I shoot a stupid sms, but isn’t that better than keeping in boiled within the group and slander me every time you meet?

I was a free agent right from the start, you have no business controlling who I can talk to or not, I talk or share things with people who are close to me and this was my problem that you were both aware of, but when I made a wrong move to this person who has forgiven me, you were the first one to judge.

This is me letting go of all the hate & love I have towards them, I was never really given a chance to express this to them directly because when asked each time, they say they have no issues with me and we all know that's a lie or else they won't be on-going discussions about me, and as time goes by, those discussion that was started with good intentions (I believe it was) turns to hate when no action was taken to address them. I know now that they don’t deserve my friendship as much as I don’t deserve to be their friend. I wish them well, I don’t hope for bad things to happen to them as they did to me, I hope they find happiness and for the love of Allah, please stop hating people.

p/s some may ask why I finally choose to put it on the blog instead of just emailing them directly, my answer would be I'm tired of trying and expected happy ending results. And if I were to email them and get the kind of response I have been getting with all the efforts I have put in, I will be devastated. This way, if they read it or not, or read it and choose to ignore or say they didn't read it, it wouldn't affect me anymore. In other words I don't care of the impact of this actions and it's my way of letting go of any hope that's left of this friendship.

Thank you for being my friend while it lasted. Like a friend said, I can't afford to be sad all the time and think of what could have been anymore, we live life once and I have got to move on.

Have a great year ahead uolz! I had a great celebrations with friends and family starting off with 31 Dec 2010, Banana Leaf with Put, Arif & Tasya & Movie (The Tourist); followed by new years Potluck at my uncle's place with the family...the game taboo was a great!

Next day it was lepak & lunch at Amm's place, from lunch to tea time we were there, eat a lot too! My Chai was a sell out..wuhuuu! Off course Amm's Ayam Masak Lemak, Mich's Prawn Sambal, Rini's Murtabak Raja & Azah's Meehoon was great! Thank you gurls for making it happen! Then since Rini was down from Doha, we took her for a Karaoke Session at the Curve for 3 hours followed by Movie (Gullivers Travel) at tropicana where my sis, cousin n kids joined...it was awesome!

The Short Escapade...

That short escapade was great…who would have thought…a week earlier I didn’t even know I was gonna have this short great vacation last weekend!

I got invited by a friend who was going on a trip with this group of people she was working with, she didn’t want to be alone with them so she invited me, and it was really worth it! Although I paid premium for a flight ticket via Air Asia but the hotel stay there was superb along with the VIP treatment we received thanks to the influential group of people we went with!

I travelled on my own back & forth direct flight to Chiang Mai, while my friend was from Bangkok & met me there with the group. We had our own personal tour with Kun Ta & Sharif, both Muslim, Kun Ta could speak Malay as he was from the south area of Thai, near to Kelantan and it was nice of them to assign him to us as he did all the bargaining at the bazaar!

Since it was a short trip, we didn’t do much, first day arrived we went straight for lunch, they took us to a muslim restaurant near the hotel, where we had the local mee curry, it was different that ours and it was good too

Next we walked around the area, I got myself this beautiful pashmena (not the place for it, but I loved it & juz got it anyway!!), then we proceed to visit the branch of the group, the people were hospitable. It’s nice seeing how management takes the trouble to mingle with their staff, joking and laughing and all…a sight I hardly see here.

Then it was back to the hotel for the both of us while the group continued with their business trip & it was all leisure for us both. I slept off and in the evening we went for dinner with the group again at this Chinese & Thai Muslim Cuisine – Jen Pao Restaurant, had dinner with them and later proceed to the night Bazaar where we shopped, by end of the day, I had spent 60% of the cash I brought – usual behavior of mine I noticed! We were there till the shops closed, that was 12midnite (Malaysian time 1am), pity Kun Ta…he must have been tired following us around! But thank God he was around, we got good prices because of him!

Then it was spending time in the fantastic hotel, juz lepak at the balcony with the refreshing cool breeze & free wifi on the phone :)

Day 2: woke up early for breakfast with the group, still didn’t know what I was gonna be doing the whole day that day, coz you know, I didn’t plan anything! Haha…we joined the group for breakfast at the hotel around 7.45am, and about 20 minutes after they had to leave and we didn’t have to follow them for the seminar, he he, more leisure time on our own, we took pictures around the hotel & the pool was superb…so beautiful! And later Kun Ta arrived with a car together with Sharif and we went sightseeing come shopping at Dao Settup & Bhubing Palace, we walked a lot & shopped too! My feet was aching…

When we got back, we joined the President for Tea, and he left for his business visit again while we had dinner at the Hotel & then enjoyed a Massage at the Spa…fantastic! Later in the night, we went for our last shopping along the ‘Saturday Walking Street’ for souvenirs and another round of lepak session at the hotel, my last night as I was leaving in the morning…There's more pictures, but the rest will be on FB when I get to it :)

In short…it was another sweet November… :D

Ever wondered about the things you said you’d never do but end up doing? Well…I have…because I said a few things I will never do, but ended doing…a hypocrite? Or just that you tend to let go of certain values because circumstances change you? Either way, it happens.

I’m itching to do something I said I’d never do now, but I also know that it’s not good to do it, but what’s with the heart and brain conflicts? It’s annoying really, especially when I end up having these conversations in my head when I’m alone or when I’m in a crowd but my mind wanders off…

One lesson learnt is to stop being in denial, I hate it when I’m in it & even hate it more when others are in it and refuse to admit it.

Loving the songs from Maher Zain, I practically listen to it everyday...I was in KLCC sometime last month and decided to buy his CD (one of those impulse buy thingy which was worth it!)...Actually I received this lyrics from Lin in August via email & since everyone was talking about it on FB ...and I loved it! the first week of oct & 10-10-10

It was a nice week...I guess...relaxing in the hospital for 3 nights...ok not so nice..lots of things happened...but I kinda enjoyed the vacation & time for myself to watch tv (hehe)

Ohh well..on Monday I went to work and by 12pm started having headache and the more I looked at my pc, the worse it got...and I felt feverish & weak...so I left the office and went to see a doctor near home...got some meds, but she didn't want to put me on antibiotics since I just took them the week before (yeah sick jugak!)...so went home...took my meds, and slept, woke up feeling crappier than ever, temperature was up with heat coming out through the eyes and a little difficult to breathe...My mum saw me and decided to take me to the hospital...and so I got admitted and they ran some test...H1N1 test, Blood, X-ray etc...biasalah...and thank God it was only a viral fever with mild sinus...

(Condolences to Ayna & family on the passing of her dad...*Al-Fatihah* we are gonna miss him...hope you are strong Ayna...I think you are..sorry for not being able to be there...)

So I got released on Thursday morning and went to see Granny & Mama at the Apartment then went home & rest...so I thought since I am kinda well...I wanted to attend my dept Potluck Closed Raya Party the next day, so off course I did everything to be better...Mama cooked her Ghee Rice as my contribution to the Potluck, I fried the Papadom - coz thats easy and ordered Popcake from a friend...they loved it all...cam berbaloi pergi office on friday, at least I didn't have to key in MC and enjoyed being the host and actually socialized with some ppl from other dept (yeah like after a year baru nak terhegeh2 kan...!)

That night completed season 4 of ugly Betty..the last season...I was inspired by her character - Betty...I somehow feel I am like her...or was like her in someways, but got sidetrack along the way...and now I want to put myself back on track...after watching her...(cam ntah pape gak la)...tapi malas nak explain lebih lanjut...

Next day on the 9th, Suria came over to buy my sewing machine...yeah I have one from the scratch & win scam...I was easily fooled those days, so I got to sell it without any effort... :) Thank you Suria for remembering my stupidity a few years back & actually remembered that I had a sewing machine yg I tak leh pandang (nyampah)...well she took it off my hands...we lepak the whole day had kfc (yeah mengidam tak pasal2)...& while she was testing out the machine - repairing my clothes and watching 'the sound of music', I took my cough mixture and dozed off...kepala berat sangat when I woke up...and had to miss the tahlil...just couldn't make it on time... hoped I could have attend it...haven't been to see Ayna yet...hmm *guilty*

Story of my 10-10-10 weekend...let's see...la bodega - lepak...then 'Eat.Pray.Love" movie ::Gold Class:: at 50% with my GSC EON Credit Card (suke!) with Put, Izan & Rod 12.50am...yeah midnite...some ppl slept off! haha..the chair was too comfy...& it was past bedtime..then we gurls crashed at Izan's place at the Seri Pacific..almost 5am baru nak tido...ish ish ish...next day had lunch (obviously no breakfast dah) at 'the magnificent' - great fish & chips here! loved the Silver Cod...nice lepak time...then we parted...Put & I went to kill some time at Ampang Point...and I spent..swiped...for a _ _ _ _ _ _. huh! didn't plan on it that day, but I have been wanting it for sometime now and it seem the time to buy... convenient :D..

Next was Sabrina's wedding meeting, Nat fetched me from Ampang Point...and after the 2 hr meeting (I was assigned to oversee Photography btw), went back to Ampang point to collect my purchase & my sister, Nas...and then I got a call from Elaine asking if I was hungry or not...as her mom has cooked a lot of food..and yes I was damn hungry and accepted the offer...and I tell ya..her mom masak mmg best so berpinggan2 jugak la makan...huhu...then off to Cyberjaya to drop Nas off there...what a tiring day...but it was great...now I'm feeling sick again...too tired..

What's nice this week was the time away from the office...I didn't miss it much, and the family members (my dad, nat & zahira) & friends (Ija, Nani & Elaine with Kenny Rogers and the next day Put with Yellow Cab) they all took the trouble to visit me at the hospital with food and all, if I was there another day, more would have come (hehe)...and the sms's, kind thoughts and doa's that kept pouring in...it was nice that people cared about me...I felt loved...thanks you all...! Love you!!

and tomorrow I have to go back to work *sigh*

Ohh yeah it was a big deal thanks to my friends…wasn’t expecting it to be a big deal…probably with all that’s been going on…I was thinking to juz run off somewhere quiet (supposedly Genting – Awana lepak kat Golf area tu…) but then Wea invited to follow her to Hong Kong, after considering it for a week or two, I decided to juz go…better to be alone there [masa Wea kena attend training]…then to be in alone in Genting…huhu (also less worry for those who knows my crazy ideas about going to Genting on my own)

Ohh yeah back to the big deal…30 Jul 2010 everything came…from morning to lunch, to afternoon to night...

1.Cupcakes from upper kes gang! That was a good surprise...malu gak nak bawak naik work station….he he dh la it wasn’t my bday pun lagi kan…heh

2.Karaoke (unexpected but due to my hobbies that was pretty clear drawn on to the cupcakes and another colleague is leaving us, karaoke was just the best thing to do)

3.Flowers – 2 of them…nie lagi la segan giler tp best!!…almost everyone passing by saw them with my name on it…tak pasal2 org ingat ada secret admirer! Muahhahaha funny!

4.That night: Revenge of the water balloons and spray…I had that one coming I guess, been doing it to almost everyone year in n year out…it’s bound to happen (my cousins got me in 2008 with tepung on my newly done hair!)…and it happened this year (from friends)! It was followed by a birthday cake & KFC for supper (since it was ard 11pm...Can’t say its dinner although Elaine did say she was coming over with KFC for dinner…). Kesian the gang had to wait i.e. menyorok blakang my sis car waiting for me to turun…well I was waiting since 9.20pm (juz got home frm offc), bila dah 10+ cam Elaine tak sampai..I pg lah mandi…rupenye they came ard that time…kena la tunggu 20 mins kot…but yeah I kena bantai after I had bath…nasib baik water balloons je…(I wud have been meaner) ha ha siap la sapa2 yg tak kena lagi tu…

Next day (31st July) was busy attending 2 weddings (adik tomek @ Selayang & adik Tasya @ Ampang Jaya), and later after taking a long peaceful nap (after the nasi minyak n desserts and the heavy rain), Put & I went out to look for Imran’s birthday present…luckily Huda told us where that sports shop in Ampang Point had moved to…we almost gave up when we couldn’t find the shop in Ampang Point (tu laa awal2 tak mo tanye huda). Ohh and sempat kutip lauk pengantin from Tomek & Sharil, well I did ask for it, since the sotong sambal was soo yummy…nasib baik ada balance…dapat jugak ktorg menikmati nasi minyak lagi with sambal sotong…ohh yeah that day was ‘overdose of rice day’

1st Aug…woke up early, hardly slept the night before, this happens every time I go on a trip, something comes up and it juz occupies my mind…bila ntah nak ada travel discipline..But hey..I don’t have discipline anyways...so that’s juz that! My mum & Nat dropped me off at Bangi. According to Yudi, my mom ikut skali drop me off sebab she was checking on my travel partner to verify it was really Wea! Pandai2 je Yudi buat teori! haha and I followed Wea & Yudi to KLIA.

We all nie pun satu…didn’t do the early check in n pick our seats, so dpt la seat mengarut2 kat tengah yg ada 5 seat tu..we were in the middle... ishh..nasib baik I cud fit into it! Anyways...nak cite nie...Wea & I did something really like jahat masa check in…we were like late (as usual)…and biasa la...cemas dowhh...So what did we do…? (Disgrace!)…we cut queue…(something I hate doing or hate others doing)…and we did it like so selamba (dgn penuh rasa bersalah la tapi…heee sampai HK pun terasa salah ok) but we had too…if MAS was being efficient by opening more counters during peak hours this wouldn’t happen! Anyway...What’s done is done...I take it as karma in the other direction…for all those times that ppl cut my queue and I let them, this was me taking back from the world (got such thing?) ha ha whatever..It’s done…Not that I’m proud of it...But tgh mengaku salah la nie…

On the flight, sempat la tgk movie satu (memory loss tak ingat cite ape! “remember me” kot) sambil makan Nasi Lemak…owh not forgetting I bought myself 2 birthday presents (alasan je tu to shop on air) heee…but I actually like what I bought up to today…so walaupun cam mahal…but it’s worth it! (The joy!!)

Sampai at HK International Airport…got our stuff and was trying to place our driver with Wea’s name but rupenyer kena gi counter 1…then Wea being a big shot as she is (ahemmm sonok lak ada kawan camnie) …we got a limo (Mercs) to take us to our hotel…excited? Hell yeah! Mahal giler lak tu! like RM300++ juz to get to the Hotel (not our money) but still…cam WoW! (ala2 Harith Iskandar in Cuci) dpt merasa treatment VIP nie...

By the time we reached the hotel it was 3pm… our hotel Park Lane was opposite Victoria Park…and being a Sunday, it’s an official public holiday for all the maids (Indonesians & Philippine’s majority)…that’s where they hang out, so there were stalls and concert apa ntah in the field and all…terasa kat indon sebentar… tp maids kat sana cun2 bukan cam kat sini…they are well dressed and make up semua mmg bley thn laa… yang muda2 tu lagi laa..ntah pape je..semua jenis style ada..with the smoky and punk style hair semua..mcm2!

Lepas check in…tgk bilik and amik2 gambar (sprt biasa sbb cam mahal giler per night…again ktrg tak byr, Wea kan big shot…sponsored…but juz imagine canne nak dtg sana lagi kalo hotel tak mampu or tak nak/tak sanggup byr! But we still want that comfort level haha)… oo yeah…we were hungry…roti2 from M’sia lah menjadi pengisi/pelapik perut…we were suppose to head to Disneyland that evening itself, but we were tired…so lepak jap…5pm plus baru keluar… Jalan2 kat Victoria Park to see what all the fuss was about…Wea sebuk nak tgk concert Wali Band (bukan org sebenar pun, tgk dr bilik je la since it was facing the park...by the time ktrg turun...nothing much there then terus pegi ladies market…

that was after posting status update to fb saying I arrived safely bla3…coz my stupid maxis had to have a problem with my roaming services although they kept insisting that it’s activated, & I couldn’t get any line!! Tensen jer!...

Ohh sambung FB status - I was asking for suggestions from friends that’s been there…nasib baik ada respond/ comments from a few ppl…so from our hotel at Causeway Bay carik train station…siap tanye Indonesian maids for direction..they were friendly…thank God! The locals weren’t friendly at all! Ntah pape je…

Found our way and got ourselves the ‘Octopus Card’ (Kat London ‘Oyster’ heheh). We took the Train to Mong Kok and just a few steps out of the station we saw the signboard towards ‘Ladies Market’ and followed it…sampai2 terus membeli kat gerai pertama..err…iPhone covers tu…sbb cam menarik n murah…apa lagi..mula la pilih yg gedik2… off course dah sampai jauh2 camtu... one wasn’t enough, so I had to buy 5+, and knowing that I won’t be using all…so my fellow iPhone buddies dpt la souvenir… Wea terus serbu T-shirt… minah tu duq borong Tshirt je keja... sampai I yg tak nak beli pun terbeli..yes salahkan wea sbb dia dah pandai tawar…kalo tak beli rasa rugi…so my dad n sisters benefited from that... Then we picked up some magnets, tp 5 jer ktrg beli…sbb it seemed expensive at the time… siap tawar2 sampai pompuan tu buat muka n tinggi suara…maki kot..tp ktrg bukan paham..pedulik ape…when we attempt to walk away, bley plak turun harga…so we bought it…later pk balik…ok la harga tu patut beli lebih...haha (in the end berebut for it, I got 1 and I let wea have the rest!).

Next stop was those imitation branded begs and watches…duq situ je lama giler sampai I terus bankrupt ok… well I had to look at it sebab Mich ordered an LV bag…then dah duduq tu, Wea pun sama membeli… tp I think she got a good deal..she’s damn good a bargaining…gotta learn this skill! I siap kena pinjam duit wea sket dulu (I took all her USD’s) to pay for my 2 LV’s and 2 watches (not that I wanted it that much, but sbb dah sampai sana, kena la beli!)…plus could bargain more paying with the USD...I had a few HKD left in the purse…but I had to pay Wea back… balik je hotel byr balik duit wea..I was left with HKD60 only…tensen seyyy I wasn’t even planning on shopping (that’s why I only converted RM1k) and I went bankrupt on my first day there…haihhh

Then terpaksa balik lah sebab tak de duit dah kan… kena sedar diri jugak lah akhirnya walaupun ada gak menyinggah beli payung dlm botol sebab it was too cute…tak tawar apa dah..penat sangat…juz took it and headed for the MTR. Ohh yeahh..we were supperr hungry! Sampai kat Causeway Bay, again Wea bertanya pada Indonesian on where to get halal food, and they pointed us to the Indonesian Restaurant...nasib baik ada…it was 10pm plus dah and most of the shops were already closed, luckily this one was still open…dapat gak makan nasi goreng…memula tu tgk menu cam nak tamak, nak the big plate..pastu a little voice inside me told me to not be ngada2 (also Wea's obvious voice on top of it)…dah la nak makan nasi malam2…nak amik lak the big plate..so we ordered the small one each…and guess what…punyer lahhh byk nasi! Nasib baik I listened to myself & Wea this time…ohh satu pinggan HKD38 (RM15 ok) mahal gak la for a kedai taraf2 biasa nie kan…but ktorg pedulik ape…dah lapa kan...jumpe lak yg halal…bantai je lah…

Then jalan lah balik Hotel…dgn confidentnye macam tau jalan…nasib baik we could recognize a few buildings along the way…sampai gak la hotel…mmg penat berjalan…Wea esok dah la training kan…I lepak je…check FB membalas2 wall & inbox msges…(perasan celebrity jap sbb cam non-stop wishes masuk…huhu) nasib baik bawak laptop…the broadband was free and I yg xde handphone mmg akan mati kutu la kalo tak bawak laptop kan…*need that connection to the world*(and I know Wea was secretly happy I bawak laptop tu! haha siap berbalas tweet with @pfariza lagi…hahah) …I slept off close to 4am...siap download2 movie…sbb broadband laju…

Will continue my actual bday (02-Aug) adventure in the next post (adventure lah sgt...yeah kalo ada masa & ingat)…dah panjang lebar lak membebel recording memories…need to get back to work…lunch break over now! Sorry for ayat2 yg berterabur…but that’s how I talk pun kan…salamz! Later peeps!

Woke up with a terible aches around the body, got home from Penang @ 12am...but I had to go to office, too many outstanding stuff (but not like I managed to complete it all) anyways..I'm glad I did go to the office today! :D

Ok..it’s not my bday for like another 2 days or so…but I received cupcakes this morning...

So cute!! with all my hobbies embedded! hahah

I love you gurls too! and as they suggested I didn't eat all...was giving it to my Division members and those around me... I'm taking home 8 pcs for the family & Put wants the Lipstick one...so I'm saving it for her!

And not only that..after going out for a long lunch i.e. karaoke – which I got invited because there was a mic on the cup cakes, so they knew my hobbies haha… came back to office to find 2 bouquet of flowers at the reception area for me… actually I thought there was one... when I was about to take it up, the receptionist stopped me and said that the other one is mine too…haha mana nak sangka kan…luckily I had friends with me to help me carry it up…famous pulak hari ni kat office…org yg tak tau tu duq ingat I got secret admirers! Hehehe

I thought there was only cupcakes, but they did surprise me with the following surprises!! Haha

Hectic rambles

It's been a pretty hectic week for me with my exams on last tuesday, thank God its over for now...hope I pass this, then I will have 5 more papers to go. Still thinking whether I should sign up for the next 2 papers in Sep...hmm kinda tired plus the study/ exam leave is over, gotta utilise my annual leave for exams and study if I do take those papers...(ishh canne nak holiday end of year)...

After the exams, heard my cousin was in a critical stage, my dad left for Penang immediately but I couldn't leave as I have been away from the office for the past two days...my work has been pilling up also since I have been on 4 days MC on&off this mth..yeah so I went to work yesterday dgn hati x tenteram, all the other cousins made their way to Penang tuesday night & wesnesday morning..and I was afraid to take leave considering the amt of MCs and study leave taken plus I wud be away 2 days on leave and 2 days training next week...hmmm and the pilling work..remember...sigh..

Thirdly it was my boss farewell lunch & the CRO said its combined with division lunch..I had to be around..i wasn't the last time(london trip) ... So I yeah I was around this time... But with some kinda guilty feeling...

As expected Abg Feroz passed on at 3pm, 28/7/10...Al-fatihah...(papa had called the night before saying he was going downhill and they had expected it) ...the burial was after Isyak, i thot it was immediately but there was some delay...I went to my boss (CRO now) ard 6+pm and told him I wanted to go to Penang...he was like yeah sure...baik kan...(he juz gave me some assignment an hr before, n I hv a feeling he doesn't remember that I would'nt be in the office next week)...that's 'working from home code' for me lah...gotta deliver! ...sendri mau seda la kan..altho I hate doing offc work at home!

Although tak sempat see my cousin for the last time...but being around family helps I guess for family support..i'll juz remember him the way my last memory box remembers him...we weren't close probably the age gap factor but its really sad loosing another cousin bro below the age of 40...

Yeah so...I'm in Penang since 1am last nite...gotta get back to offc 2mrw for some unfinished business..nak tak nak...have to balik KL today..so tired...

P/s: Err sempat mkn nasi kandaq beratur at Jln Kapitan Keling, near bapak tok's shop & Masjid Kapitan Keling at 2am... oppssss! And I had coke too...double oppss!

Am I on retirement mode?

Visited the Ex-Unta bosses…I was in the area to withdraw some $$ from EPF...remember the excess spending...yeah...gotta do something now! anyway back to Unta...

When I called K, he straight away asked (cheerful tone)

“What…you wanna comeback?!”…

I said “Noooo, I’m in the area, thinking of dropping by for a visit…are you in the office?”…

And so he welcomed me…and I met them all… They seem to think I’m wasting my time where I’m at…relaxing… not doing much…when I was at Unta, I was learning a lot and contributing too…but here, it’s more of contributing…not much of learning…

AA asked me if I’m on retirement mode…

I had to think…I’m pretty happy with the slow pace right now…earlier it was boring...and it is still boring some days…but I have gotten used to it…but I gotta snap out of retirement mode someday… I’m too young to be there…I know... & it’s good to know they’ll take me back anytime… but I wanna spread my wings and fly out for sometime first… it juz doesn’t seem right to go back too soon… why do I feel Unta is like my work-home? Weird… maybe the first job factor…and I was there for 6 years…

Anyway...when I told them I’m studying on the side…i.e. these CIFP papers & am already at Part 2, then they said OK...I wasn’t really wasting time…at least I’m learning something too…& K told me the next time he sees me, he wants a new name card from me… either change of title or place…heh so looks like I won’t be meeting him until next year then…career move or progression for me will be next year…until then I’m on retirement mode! Ahaks…it’s called relaxing mode actually for my case… so I do have a plan after all…I just had to write and think out loud to know it…it helps to blog!

Funny…they think I left 2 years already…It’s only been a year…and people at the current place…they think I have been here for 2 years too…all the sudden I’m like the old face here…hahah

And I’m headless again in the current place…here we go again…gotta step up & shine…snap out of lazy shaz!

Assignment date got extended from last week (11th July) to this weekend, submission is on 18th Jul…and guess what...On the 09th I was at 75% complete...But after attending the class last Sunday...I gotta magnify some stuff and as usual I keep it to the last minute! Haih...this behavior juz never cease to exist...juz because deadline was extended...I’m happily procrastinating...and I’m sure this weekend, there’s gonna be a heavy price to pay...i.e. lock myself in the room to complete it...haha

Exams this round is on the 27th July, at least it’s before my birthday, aint like last year…where I was stressed on my birthday weekend…since exams was 2 days after…

Other than that, I have been spending way too much on the credit card…for my room…heh…I seem to swipe easily on anything I want…I’m going crazyyyy…not only that…I even decided to go overseas for a damn short trip…people would think it’s a waste of flight ticket…but do I care? Noooo…whatever la kan..

Also I watch Eclipse 3 times! 09, 12 & 13th July all at TGV KLCC...Wuhooooo Loved it!

Hmm as for room warming…I’m not gonna invite anyone…I guess I’m gonna let my friends who are interested to invite themselves…it’s easier that way…friends can juz drop by whenever they feel like it…I’m not in the mood for organizing anything these days..but I do wanna have a karaoke session, jigsaw puzzle session & movie screening on the new TV (heeeeee)…so friends pick which activity and invite yourselves in…(gurls only)

I’m learning how to download movies – blue ray movies…at least I can exchange with people in the office, instead of just taking… right? :| …segan laks…I have been exchanging but with Put’s downloaded series! Hik hik..tq Put!

On NPD – she’s delusional! She still thinks that we are jealous of her…get a life women…there’s really nothing that you have that I want! Booohoooo…sudah2 la meninggi diri tu…I tried to make you listen, but it backfired…but jealous of your life? Heck NOooo! YUCK! more of disgusted!

Girls and stupidity

I juz don't get these girls...why go after a guy who is not interested to marry you? If they already expressed it (not interested in marriage with you) or behave in that manner why chase them..? Don't you want someone who wants to marry you instead of someone only YOU want to marry? Have some pride for God's sake! What kinda of life would that be for you if you end up getting married? You think you could be happy forcing, guilting or tricking someone into marrying you? Regardless if the guy is single or married (worse still going after a married men who doesn't even want you)..but can you girls think of your future? If they don't want you now, what's gonna make them stay after marriage? It's headed for you know what lah!

Even if they layan you now, doesn't mean they are gonna marry you, wake up! If they are not interested..that's it! The end..if eventually they come back saying they want a marriage look at the situation most of the time it's because they don't know or dont have any direction (so they juz stick with the easiest option) or their life as they know it vanished and he is juz back to using you like before ... juz having fun and filling in his spare time..until he feels like leaving!

I know..I'm not in love..it's easy for me to say it..but when people around you keep telling you to open your eyes...for God's sake listen to them! Especially when those telling you are genuine trusted friends or family members.

Communication with me cease when they find love or they are in a relationship, the moment breakups comes in, they look for me, or when they get married and reliaze they have lost their friendships with the others or maybe when they miss me after a few years, they come back...yes i'm used to being the door mat, have it your way, if I end up treating you that way in the future, don't blame me...hey i'm only human...and there is a limit to how much I can take. It was a great week…started off the back2back birthday celebrations for Jun babies at ‘The Magnificent’ on 2nd June, the fish & chips was almost as good as the ones at UK..close enough...

Happy Birthday to Lop & Rod (3rd June) & Put (6th June)! Dinner was great…

Next was the surprise birthday dinner for Put on 3rd June…with 2 days notice from her dad…we managed to pull this one off…thanks to all involved! Was she SURPRISED? hell yeah!!

Let’s see, I planned a dinner with the upper kes gang, so she didn’t suspect anything was gonna happen, Arif took care of the cake (cupcakes from Wonderland!) & balloons, while Ayna handled the cousins & family invites…Imran, Nana & Egy distracted her by taking her out for a movie…a horrible one apparently! Hahaha …and by 8.30pm upperkes were there, huda & baim just walked in and got a separate table, then sharil & tomek arrived and I summoned Put to join them, leaving Imran, Nana & Egy to be free to meet the family, almost kantoi at MPH bookstores as most of the family n cousins were there, and they had to hide from her! That’s funny, but she was oblivious, did not notice them, thank god for that! Hahah…

I arrived at Italianies by 8.40pm with Elaine, yeah I was late, huh organizer got stuck in the rain n ampang madness jam (1.5 hrs)! It looked normal too since I'm like always late! Anyways, luckily not that late, so we were talking n having dinner as usual, we ordered and went ahead with dinner, it seemed more real…and by 9pm this big group of ppl juz walked in from the back and surprised her...with the cake & balloons and the party hat for the birthday gurl, it was definitely havoc for a moment, heck I was surprised too…since they came in without texting me, I wasn’t ready with the camera even!

She got loadz of presents mostly from her wish list published on FB – something like 11 books!…and the present from her parents…the one that she wanted but was afraid of having it, since she calls her friends, cousins n family zombies…well now she has become one…welcome to the smart world phone Put!

Next day, 4th June, off to JB, Nat joined in last minute…delaying our journey (tertinggal passport lah!)...and causing us not to get the nasi lemak at Ayer Keroh! Huhu, we reached JB at 2am++. Put drove all the way, while nat & I took turns to sleep heh…dera the bday gurl sket..

Next day, 5th June: off to Singapore with Put, Izan & Nat…Got stuck 2 hrs to get into S’pore…we reached at 3pm, this trip was for us to supposedly juz chill & eat Swenson’s, but…as the Great Sale was on...we ended up shopping !:D … Charles & Keith…really made me spend! Later at night, we manage to visit my cousin Noria’s newborn Lil Daanish @ 3 mths too…thanks to Izan for making this Singapore trip happen!

Later on the way back from Singapore, enduring another round of Jam, we stopped at Singgah Selalu for dinner…it was already 11pm by then…and lepas makan…another round of celebration for the bday gurl…well…she didn’t know this cake was coming too…hahah..tensen je Put asyik kena tipu by me…which means by lying skills has gotten better…*Yes!!*

Happy Birthday Put! Enjoy the last of the twenties…next year I know ur gonna pull a Rachel & I’m suppose to slap you…but could we juz get out of the country and travel somewhere instead!!?!!

Later that night we went crazy, instead of being normal, tired and just sleep, we went looking for wireless at mamak around JB…yeah at 3am jalan2 carik pasal…*mentang2 takde parents supervision* bila lagi nak buat keja gila kan…plus they don’t read our blogs, so it’s ok..hehe…we got back home ard 5am, nope, did not sleep…we watched GLEE ep21...after that, we pengsan..but not for long, there was some renovation work going on outside the house and to our horror, the workers worked on Sunday, so at 9am, the drilling and hammering was going on...so yeah, we woke up! Arghh..

So on 6th June, we went to watch Lagenda Budak Setan at Tebrau City, had lunch at Kenny Rogers, since it was the same level with GSC, too tired to walk…we juz wanted to eat n watch movie! Huhu..Izan couldn’t join us for the movie, but she did for dinner later at Sg Chat, Assam Pedas…Masak lemak situ mmg best…and the telur masin Udang thingy was good too..Nat came too with her friends later, and Mai, Safri & Adam (1 yrs +) came later…nice meeting them..Adam was having fever..kesian dia..

(Review LBS: ok for me, I didn’t read the book yet! And the actors & actress did a good job, it was like a snapshot of events, not the full story, but we get the story from the short scenes, but what’s with the camera close-ups?)

Finally 7th June: suppose to leave for KL…but we were too lazy! It’s like we didn’t wanna go home..hurm.. left the house 4pm+ and headed to George & Dragon for scones & mini lamb cutlet…nyumehh! Izan met up with us after work…lepak jap until 6.40pm, then we left JB… :(

Stop at Ayer Keroh for our Nasi Lemak…but no ayam rendang laks, we were too early this time…haih..macam2..

8th June: Woke up with a migraine, got half day leave and clocked in at 2pm at office...(^_^)

Movies update: Watch Prince of Persia - enjoyed it! and Shrek - so so la..movie marathon with a little of our own marathon (late to the movies!), had run across the open space parking from the far end to OU! huh..misses a few minutes on Prince of Persia, but not much...thank god! heheh (still menyampah tahap dewa with the bounty hunter, don't know whats with the kids that like it soo much...it was boring!, storyline incomplete! & draggy)

Off to Ipoh for the weekend - to attend Jasmin & Hakim's wedding (don't know the couple, but was invited by the mother of the bride...), went on a eating spree while we were there...breakfast at McD from KL, lunch at the wedding (including cendol as appetizer - not dessert!), then back to MCD for ice-cream, went to puts aunts house where the hall was turned to a cyber cafe by the kids and us, and a dorm by the parents! haha and then dinner Mee Kari & Mee Kicap @ Labrooy. Then off to Kuala Kangsar for the night...and then, there was an accident - the flying kerbau (sat night at Jelapang - the adults rushed out, while we stayed home guarding the kids) - luckily both aunties were safe..the car was totally damaged and it was fatal for the kerbau...

...and Nasi Ganja (erm I think this was the name given my the megats) at the town in Ipoh, one of the famous nasi kandar there that we crave for each time we go to Ipoh! Even tapau a few packs back, and ended up having it for dinner..overdose of Nasi Ganja! (so much for wanting to skip dinner last night eh Put!)

From title-less to a title…an improvement perhaps? Hmm creating the next chapters is a bit difficult if I don’t really know my direction…I kinda have a sketch in my mind, that will do for now I guess, so I have my 5 year sketchy target, gotta work on the longer years targets too...

So this is my life paintings in words.

Why the sudden change some might ask, I guess Zaharuddin.net & the FB pages touched my soul a bit, I said earlier I didn’t like change, but there’s a lot more change I need to make, and I decided to start with my web profiles. Deleted my Friendster, never thought I would, they were so many memories there, but I did. Removed my blog contents from the world view, not that it was being viewed by many, but why risk it huh? Then I removed some profile pictures and had done a spring cleaning on my FB, thou I must say, there’s a lot more to do in there…to delete or not the albums, that is a question…maybe not now, someday I would…those are all temporary, heck I might delete my FB account one day!

So what’s new other than my current mental disorder of deleting things…(while I’m at it, maybe I should start cleaning my room n throw out all unused/useless things!)

Let’s see..babies..lots of babies…Congratulation to Mich & Nairul, Jue & Cory and Amm & Kerek on the arrival of their Little Alfie (18 Mar 2010), Alyssa (19 Apr 2010) & Aisyah (16 May 2010)…triple A! more babies to come end of this year and also…more weddings, congrats to my sis, friends & cousins who have decided to tie the knot…happy preparing for the wedding!

Work is busy as usual…ohh yeah..no more free days, I actually have work…and a lot of it too..so when I stray from it, I end up staying back completing it, seldom, but it happens!

Started out from home 6.30am, dropped of my elder sis at the LRT Star, and the second sis at Putra (she's starting her new job - good for her -all the best!) and then, went straight to Masjid Negara for my exams. Since I started out when it was dark, naturally the car lights was on..

anyways, studied in the card for 1 hr 45 mins, then went to the hall...it was hot! and yes I had to wear tudung, since examinations was held at the Masjid Dewan Syarahan Utama, black tudung and another layer of jacket over my T-shirt...juz imagine the heat I absorbed, nevermind that, answered all the questions, not sure of them though - I had read it all, but I don't remember it exactly, plus it was accounting questions, how can I be sure what I read and what I answered were correct anyway...so I did bantai-zation of the whole thing, hoping that I can pass..juz pass pls!! *pleaseeee* ....I'm having doubts since I'm not confident with this paper... :(

When I got out of the hall, went straight to the car, wanted to go meet my youngest sis for lunch and pass her some stuff, and I really realllyyyy wanted to go home soon so that I can study for the next paper tomorrow...guess what...I forgot to turn off the damn lights...the car couldn't start and it was really hot 12.30pm! remember the black tudung and 2 layer clothes? shesshhh...got a nice guy to jump start, but it couldn't start..haih

and to make things worse...my battery was running out 20% more to death! and it eventually ran out causing me to do all kinds of things juz to get the battery for the car...my sis picked me up after 45 mins...had super fast lunch (McD) with my sis, dropped her off, went to lepak with put since she had a phone charger! managed to call the battery guy once I charged my phone...lepak there while waiting for the battery guy and got the battery done by 4.30pm...had to pay RM165 for my carelessness!! got home at 5.30pm, my bottle of water in the bag spilled too!! hishhh...dead tired n exhausted, haven't studied till now...gonna burn the midnight oil tonight! wish me luck and hopefully no more bad luck and I really hope I pass! plsssss Allah help me...

hungry now...gonna get me some rice (nasi goreng thai with telur mata n cili padi..*nyum*...ohh and I bought chocolates on the way back to calm myself..*heheh*

so...here I am, exams in 3 days, still going out for a movie...heh, not that I have finished studying, but there's no point staring at the books if nothing is registering, might as well take a break! always have time for that :) (I kinda confirmed for the movie like a week ahead! huhu)

anyways, weird things happen today, but good things I guess, first of all, I went to the RM2 toilet at KLCC, when I arrived, and there was this lady in front of me, she paid using RM10, I wanted to do the same since I didn't have small change, but the makcik there didn't have any change to return to me, so this nice lady, a stranger, juz offered to pay...err..weird, I was feeling bad, trying to look for coins or what ever I can get, anyways I went in, thinking I'll meet her after, get her acc no or whatever but she was gone by then...

and then, met up with the gang for the movie - Iron Man 2, we had purchased 11 tickets online, but only 10 turned up, miscommunication or something, dunno, so we were left with one wasted ticket, but you see, we didn't want to waste it...its RM12...so we decided to give it away to any lucky person who was there alone, and Put found the person n juz handed it to him, he was grateful! nice huh...the seat wasn't bad too..& someone got a blind date! haha

we went in..watch the movie, tasha dozed of in the middle of the movie..like WTH? nvm, I enjoyed it...cool! that's all I have..

So we came back from Ipoh on Saturday night, after Dina & Azril's wedding on Saturday @ noon, we stopped for our Nasi Ganja, puas makan nasi on Saturday! & later on had Baskin Robins @ Jusco Ipoh, melampau kan...tp best! with no guilty feelings pun! haha.

It was great! going for F1...never thought I'd actually go, but when Put had extra tix from Im & Nana, I just said "Yes" without much thought. I was suppose to spend my sunday completing and refining my assignments, but F1 free tix was way better! Thank you guys..I really enjoyed it!

We didn't have the tickets at hand, so we were kinda not sure where to park, so what did we do? We juz went straight to KLIA and parked there, we reached at 3pm, got a cab to F1 Sepang Circuit and the cost? RM42.10! *hahah* We are damn good at wasting money (ala 7 pounds je *poyo*)...anyways, at least we reached there fast, the jam wasn't bad as most people were already there. Got off the cab at the drop off zone, bought a RM5 earplug & hooped on to the shuttle bus that was ready leave, we were there 10mins to 4pm, but had spent time locating Nana & Im, so kinda missed the line up...but we heard it all, at least something...

Then we saw Nana, she passed us our tix, and gave us a ride to our Crystal Suite on the buggy..jadi jakun jap...first time on it! Ohh yeah, my first time there & I got the Grand Stand tix...lucky me! Thanks a lot Nana, Im & Put! We watched for a bit, like 13 laps (sempat la tgk Schumacher out), *woahh the noisee even with the earplug*! then went off to grab some food, food there is expensive, expected but still (like 3x increase!) RM6 for Sugar Cane drink, RM5 for a carbonated drink, and the food at the range of RM18 to RM25...but then, we bumped into Nana & Im, so guess what, we got free food! it's not juz any free food, its lunch & tea set prepared by Hard Rock, huge burger, kenyang sampai malam!...

Went back when they were at 40 laps and watched the remaining race, I was kinda confused most of the time, so I juz watched it at the screen and picked up what was going on and who was out by that time...the rest is in the news, we left ard 6.40+, got some souvenirs and got a ride back to KLIA from Egy's dad, slamat! Then lepak minum jap at KLIA & left after an hour, parking was RM16.50 (incase ur wondering!)

Five Stages Of Grief (from here)
1. Denial and Isolation.

hurm, I think I did go through this 5 stages when I realized that put on that 23kg's I lost...and I am already at the 5th stage where my weight is concern, I accept myself now, although I am still trying to loose weight & be healthy.

nope..no one died, I'm juz going through a loss, not gonna say what I felt like I lost, but it's gone, I can feel it. Or I may be overeacting & being a drama queen!

April's here...Hurm..juz updating the usual ‘me’ stuff…went for “Clash of the Titan’s” last night with Put, Ayna, Tasya, Put pdk, Ikin & Arif, I don’t really follow these stories on Greek Gods, but I kinda enjoyed this one…and it was dinner at Rawsha after. No pictures this time, all in Put Pdk’s camera, we kinda celebrated her so belated bday with a small choc cake (from Ayna), it was nice…then Put sent me home *thanx a lot* and I had to pack for my Ipoh trip…and pass the luggage to Put, why? Because we’re leaving tonight and I’ll be heading to class after work (mama's dropping) and then Arif has agreed to pick me up! *thanx!* see what I go thru not owning a car…Thank God for the friends & family I have…*:D*…A car?...yeah soon maybe, if I still don’t get a job overseas, then I’ll get one (It’s juz hard to commit!)

Other than that, been going jogging at KLCC park with the CV i.e. Put, Ayna & Tasha, Put calls us her Constant Variables (CV) which has become mine too…Ok..it’s lie, I don’t jog, I juz walk, about 3 rounds and by that time it gets dark, well good enough for a start right? Yeah so that happens like once a week on a fix day, which I shall not mention here…

On work there’s a lot to do and I will be swamped soon…been asking for more to do and now I have it, no more boring days for me *yeay*. I hopefully I am able to meet or exceed their expectations; it’s scary if I don’t! I don’t want to be that kinda person too…hmm

On the study, one assignment is due on the 5th and I am ever so lazy to complete it! Looks like it’s gonna be a last minute production as usual, since I am off to Ipoh tonite (nasi ganja yes!!)! Then there’s exams coming up...again…now I am waiting for May to come, after exams, partteeyyyy! (Which translate to vacation or jalan2…*weeeee!*)

Does my life sound cheerful to you? I have been kinda depressed lately too, out of my own doing, but I can’t help it, I felt something and acted on it. But it has caused some damage, which makes me feel really bad and I can’t really talk about it to anyone, it’s complicated. So being silent is not good but what ever la, so there you go, friendship is not easy and I’m thinking…am I that bad?

13-14 Mar 10: Treasure Hunt to Swiss Garden Damai Laut, Lumut! finally I get to go for a treasure hunt after almost 2 years not being able to participate..been to busy with other things...

It was fun! & more bonding with the colleagues...

That's our striking colored T-shirts! A picture with our very much loved guard who is leaving back to his home country...it's nice having someone greet you every morning and evening before you leave the office, I have never come across this kinda guard...it's like those movies in the western..& that's my team & our car no 14..

At the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' dinner, I wasn't dressed up, just rented the hats to be in the spirit of the theme..kudos to those who dressed up! we had a huge ship of pirates..it was great!

We won 5th place =)...and our team of pirates from Finance..

I'm one confused person, juz an hour before dinner I was telling Put all kinds of things about dieting and being afraid to get Diabetis n all...after finding out about friends our age actually getting it and how it's getting so common...ohh and what did I do..hmm Elaine n I went to old Town White Coffee n ate...a lot! and we left the restaurant with this satisfying look (we have done this before) and its kinda funny when we realized what we had juz done...haih

anyway..here's what we did..at least we're coming clean and not sweeping it under the carpet right..I think...we wont be going there for a long time...we juz had had enough!

Outing with Put & the cousins: We watched Alice in wonderland last Friday, 3D...I can't really remember the whole story from my childhood days, but I felt like there was something missing in the movie...anyhow..I did enjoy it...the Queen of Hearts was kinda cute...I was trying to do the lips lipstick like hers! (i shall not post pictures, it looks horrible!) hehe

Kids usually don't like me, maybe coz I'm garang..or look scary or what eva it is, sometimes my cousins scare their kids using my name like I'm a villain or something (Not funny Farah!)..so when they meet me they kinda behave & they are actually scared of me (I can feel it! Kessiiaan Yasmeen & Farhan)..but this is nice...to be liked!

Was out with the cousins till late on Monday night, so naturally all the mom's (2 of them)went home late & got questioned by the kids...here goes the dialog of one of them..

Conversation with Qaish (I didn't make it up, the mum sent it via sms to me this morning) hehehe:

Mama: Because I go and do my hair then I pi jumpa aunty Shaz

But still went out for lunch… to a stall area, near the office to have cakoi n the tarik..it was great..but it was also hot! Arghh
Can’t wait for dinner..meeting with the cousins to gossip...but then...tensen kejap...I dun have transportation to get there..hishh
Too much complains for today..I should stop.

Still..haven't solve my problem on how to get there.

I'm depressed! Juz got my pay & paid all outstanding bills & commitments..n left with too little cash..well..that's my punishment for spending too much since last year (and before)..my 'hutangs' from credit cards can never be over..it just snowballs from one month to the other...like this month..if I have no cash..I'll be using my credit card! Swipeeeeee jeee sesuka hati!! damn...I'm soo dependent on it!!

When will I be able to make money work for me..I am trying something now..it should work..but it's a burden for at least one year...yeah it's using ASB...but I gotta pay the loan installments for the first year before I can let the dividend & bonus self fund itself...it's not that I don't know how to save..but I juz enjoy spending it! ahaks!

My mum wants me to invest in a property..but haha if I can't manage with my current salary...how am I gonna sustain paying for a property (plus I'm juz too lazy to deal with tenants n problem associated to owning a property! it's a hassle I don't need!)...and now I need a car...after managing to avoid buying a car for all these working years...I think I need it soon...Hate all this extra commitments..I just wanna be free & easy and spend & travel as I like...without creating such a huge hole in the pocket!

warghh tensen...I hope there is a bonus this year n its good! ohh yeah shifted jobs last year..no bonus..maybe that's why I'm feeling the deficit! yeker? hmm...

The food...as usual there would be too much..there was Nasi Lemak (joint effort), Roti Jala, Rojak Pasemboq, Beef Lasagne, Tuna sandwich and Desserts (Choc cake, Choc muffin, Trifle,Cheese Tarts etc) & the Comm members posing..=)

Lin won the tudung matrixssp gift (pic), Bol best dress (very d blue), Ifah best shoes, Huda early bird, Tomek latest to arrive, Dina paling keycoh, Nabil paling lama gayut tepon and many more...& checking out the old albums n laughing away at the way we looked 10 yrs back...

the 11 of us plus kids...it was great meeting you gurls... yup blue & white was the theme..the blue was the tudung color we were forced to wear during matriculation days...we hated it!! hahaha

Next activity..bowling...hopefully the rest would join..but it would always be the same 10 - 15 people...but at least we meet & catch up...it was great...hope to see them more often...

It was a friday after work...we were lucky to reach on time & didn't make a grand entrance! fuhh.. (tq Aza for having me there..)

Lovely couple...their first date was our BBGS batch 98 prom, 12 years ago..

Penang Trip with the Gurls...

We went to Penang!! - stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel & It was great!! We managed to get an upgrade from the seaview room to the deluxe lagoon..its a fantastic room..we could just jump into the pool whenever we felt like it from our room...cool huh?

Loved the pool & the beach..came back with a horibble sun burn! but it's worth it!

Nice place..but it was tiring...plus it was hot..all we wanted to do was to get back to the hotel & jump in the pool...!

14 Feb 2010 - CNY - Valentines dinner with the gurls (semua wajib make-up) @ Hard Rock Cafe...used my all access card...kononnye nak jump the que, but there wasn't any que as we were late & it was already full...but they called us once the tables were available..

15 Feb 2010: Saying Goodbye to the Hotel after a great morning at the beach..I went on the Banana boat & Jet Ski..the rest tried other sports as well (& myra picked up some peminat on the beach, semua nak naik jet ski with her!...hehe)..it was all fun!

All in...I enjoyed mostly spending time with my BBGS-ian friends...hopefully there's more to come...

I'm at India...currently attending my mum's high-school reunion..."Sacred Heart Yercaud" & "Monfort Old Boys" Reunion..It has been great the past few days, and its coming to and end, we will be leaving for Chennai tomorrow...(cousins i.e. Muna & Asif take note!)

I'm just glad to be alive...after what happened last night...

It started out a very cheerful night with us attending the Grand Ball of the SHY & MOB reunion 2010 here at Yercaud...there were the usual welcome speech, dinner & dances, thank you speech, desserts (rasmalai & ice-cream)!...we all had fun...I was dancing too..after much persuasion...must have made a fool of myself..ohh well..we had fun..

at 12 midnite we wanted taking the bus back from Grand Palace to Sheveroys Hotel, the bus was nicely parked at the lobby area..we all got on to it, as I was getting on, a girl came and asked me to hold the bus while she went back to the hall to get her friends, so me having the responsibility to hold the bus was extremely alert...

You see..the bus started moving (very slowly), inspite of me informing to organizer and driver to wait...so I got off my seat immediately told to organizer to hold it, I turned at look at the drivers seat only to see that there wasn't anyone at the wheel!! (tamil / hindi drama huh? not so much time...it was real!)

I panicked, we were right in front and the only ones who knew what was going on... my mum & I screamed that there was no driver to the organizer and to alert the passengers.. (while I was contemplating / thinking whether I should just jump into the driver seat and stop the bus myself - but I knew I didn't know how to operate it plus I couldn't fit in that small area!..thank God Chuksu (Leslie Fonceca) the organizer jumped into the moving bus that was headed down hill (yes real hero! God sent - he knew how to operate buses)... as it was gaining momentum, he dived to the drivers seat, managed to get hold of the steering wheel and maneuvered the coach (bus) away from the direction it was headed and the parked cars alongside as we crashed on to the wall / hedge near the pin bend...the bus would have gone downhill if it weren't for his fast action...I thank god..there were 7 of us on the bus and I can't imagine what could happen if he didn't stop in on time..we would have toppled over with the bus downhill...and ... maybe survived with horrible injuries...

The bus was at the end of the broken concrete hedge, tilted to the right, with the 2 right tyres hanging out of the hedge, we got off immediately, but my aunt got hit at the knee, she couldn't move, she was in pain, but thank god no fracture, she could get up and walk out. She's fine now, walking around..but off course enduring the pain..(no worries Noria, your mum is fine. needless to say, all the passengers were shaken but we were fine too..Syukur Alhamdulillah...
